SUMMARY • There are 6,226 people living in College Town, 18.2% of these are children aged 0 to 15 and 12.7% are older people aged 65 and over. The non-white British population accounts for 20.2% of the total population. 82% of the College Town population were born in the UK. This is fewer than the average of Bracknell Forest. • Out of the 18 wards in Bracknell Forest, College Town is the sixth least deprived ward. 6.6% of children in College Town are at risk of living in poverty, compared with 11% across Bracknell Forest. • In College Town 3.4% of the working age population claim benefits compared with 6.2% in Bracknell Forest. 76.05% of the population of College Town who are aged 16 to 74 years are in employment.
