Parish Council monthly update Chartham, Stone Street & Harbledown April 2021 Information provided by: PCSO Emma Coyle of Canterbury Community Safety Unit. Crimes of note: 10/04/21 – Criminal damage, Tillard Close, Petham – suspect has jumped on the roofs of several sheds causing damage 13/04/21 – Malicious communications, Chartham Hatch – unknown suspect has left voice mails making threats 16/04/21 – Dangerous dog causing injury, The Green, Chartham – victim has been told it’s okay to throw a ball for an unknown dog, when she has bent down to pick up the ball, she has been bitten by the dog 18/04/21 – Criminal damage, Plough Lane, Upper Harbledown – weed killer has been put on plants causing damage 19/04/21 – Malicious communications, Chartham – multiple voice mails have been left by an unknown person making threats There have been no crimes of note reported from Upper Hardres, Lower Hardres, Nackington, Waltham or Harbledown Anti-social behaviour and other incidents of note: 04/04/21 – Church Hill, Harbledown – two off road bikes were seen riding in the orchards 17/04/21 – Bobbin Lodge Hill, Chartham – two off road bikes were seen riding on farmland, area search no trace by Police 19/04/21 – Mill Lane, Harbledown – three youths were seen firing a gun into trees, possibly an air rifle or bb gun 1 For more information about policing in your area, visit www.kent.police.uk To report a non-urgent crime online, visit www.kent.police.uk/contactus Parish Council monthly update 20/04/21 – Riverside, Chartham – two youths were seen to fire catapaults towards ducks, area search no trace by Police 23/04/21 and 24/04/21 – A28, Chartham – sheep in the road, area search no trace by Police 27/04/21 – Ashdown Field, Chartham – Fire, KFRS attended however not as servere as first thought Items of good work: Regular rural patrols Meeting with Kevin FINNON, Community Warden 2 For more information about policing in your area, visit www.kent.police.uk To report a non-urgent crime online, visit www.kent.police.uk/contactus .
