JCC coordinate with municipality to collect garbage from the camp. 5. UNHCRs partner YAO distributed 267 hygiene kits and water jerry can for month of May. 6. MoMD distributed two sets of hygiene kits for month of Jun for 286 families. Barzinja camp: (43 families, 184 individuals) Updates:- 1. Barzinja branch of DSSW is operating water system of the camp. 2. Camp management are repairing water and sanitation system. 3. Barzinja municipality are collecting garbage from the camp 3 days in a week. 4. MoMD distributed two sets of hygiene kits for each family in month of Jun. Ashti camp :( 2397 families, 11,570 individuals) UNICEF will funding WASH activities and supporting the partner JCC to continue up to 16 of July 2018. Updates:- 1. DSSW as a partner of UNICEF operating the water network on daily basis and providing drinking water with average 720 m3/day (65 litre/person) for the camp. 2. Arbat municipality collecting garbage from the camp three times per a week. 3. UNHCR, s partner YAO distributed 2399 hygiene kits and water jerry can for month of May. 4. MoMD distributed two sets for 2431 families’ hygiene kits in month of Jun. 5. The culvert box of runoff inside the camp was blocked. Arbat IDP’s Camp: (370 families 1785 individuals) UNICEF will funding WASH activities and supporting the partner JCC to continue up to 16 of July 2018. Updates:- 1. DSSW as a partner of UNICEF operating the water network on daily basis and providing drinking water with average 150 m3/day,(80 litre/ person)and maintenance of sanitation , Cleaning campaigns are continue. MoMD distributed two sets hygiene kits for 373 families in month of Jun. Arbat Refugee Camp: (2182 Families – 8687 Individuals) – UNHCR with partner( Qandil & DSSW) continue provide WASH services to the refugee from mid of February up to end of Dec. 2018. Updates:- 1. DSSW continue operating water system to provide drinking water with 100L/P/D to refugees. 2. UNHCR with partner Qandil coordinating with Arbat municipality to collect waste management 3 times per a week and cleaning campaign in the camp. 3. UNHCR, s partner YAO distributed 2073 hygiene kits and water jerry can for month of May. 4. UNHCR Conducted KAP survey on WASH activities inside the camp and plan for 2018 will depend on the result of this survey about their needs. Tazade Camp: (382 Families 1750 individuals) UNICEF funding WASH activities and supporting his JCC / To follow up the repair of partners JCC & DOGSW to continue up to 16 July 2018. 2pumps of 2boreholes were broken. Updates:- 1. Operating water system service and provide amount of water 350m3/day. 2. Maintenance of water and sanitation system outside the caravans are continue. 3. The 2pumps of boreholes which provide water to the camp were broken. 4. Collecting the solid waste management’s and one cleaning campaign in each month. 5. MoMD distributed two sets of hygiene kits for each family in month of Jun. Qurato Camp: (243 Families 1114 individuals) arche nova is funding and providing full WASH package in the Camp up to 30 of Jun 2018. Updates:- 1. Provide drinking water with average of 85 L/P/D, maintenance of water and sanitation system. 2. Collect waste garbage on daily basis and monthly two cleaning campaign in the camp. 3. The generator of the pumps not working. 4. MoMD distributed two sets of hygiene kits for each family in month of Jun. 1. Off camps updates PWJ : 1. Two New Boreholes each 300m deep connected main Pipeline to the 8000m3 Tank in Shorish sub- district, Chamchamal District on going %60 completed. GIZ: (Qudra – Local partner) 1- Drilling of deep well and construction of Pump house and Guardroom Location: Sulaymaniyah/ Raparin Administration/ Ranya District/ Nawroz Neighborhood Implemented partner: Raparin Directorate of Water Duration: 5 months / Target groups: HCs and IDPs Beneficiaries: 660 HHs, 3960 Individuals, of which 10 HHs are IDPs, Progress: 10%. WASH Cluster Page 2 of 4 Short Summary: A deep well of 150m depth will be drilled with supplying of pump set, construction of Pump house and Guardroom. The population are suffering from lack of water, however, There are at least 3 existed deep wells in this neighborhood, but the need is greater, therefore by implementing this project, hopefully the gap will be covered. 2- Extension of Water pipeline Location: Sulaymaniyah/ Bakhteary 111 Implemented partner: Suli DOW / Duration: 5 months Target Groups: HCs, IDPs and Refugees Beneficiaries: 300 HHs, 1800 Individuals, of which 10% are IDPs and Refugees , Progress: 10% Short Summary: The main 150mm existed feeder does not meet the demand of the population, therefore it will be replaced by new 250mm Polyethylene pipe, to cover their needs. 3- Installation of Sewerage system /Location: Sulaymaniyah/ Said Sadiq District/ Raparin Neighborhood Implemented Partners: Suli General Directorate of Municipalities, Said Sadiq Directorate of Municipality Duration: 5 months / Target Groups: HCs, IDPs and Refugees Beneficiaries: 196 HHs, 1176 Individuals, of which 36HHs are IDPs and Refugees. Progress: 90% Short Summary: There is no sewerage system in this Neighborhood, this issue causes public health risks to the population, especially children. Most of the families are depending on private pits made by themselves to dispose their wastes, this could mix with the water supply and causes diseases. By implementing 900ML of sewerage system with diameter of 40cm Polyethylene pipe, this problem will be solved in 4 blocks of this neighbourhood. 4- Extension of Water network - Location: Halabja Governorate/ Darwaza and Goran Neighborhoods Implemented Partner: Halabja DOW / Duration: 3 months Target Groups: HCs, IDPs and Refugees /Beneficiaries: 700 HHs, 4200 Individuals, of which 11% are IDPs and Refugees .Progress: 25%. Short Summary: This project consist of 2 parts. First part is connecting existed deep well to the existed elevated tank in Goran Neighborhood, the other part is connected the existed pipelines of 4” to 8” diameters. UNDP: 1. Plan to construct of water tank & water distribution network in the village of Sadubeyst. 2. Plan to cleaning manholes and inlets of wastewater network in Suliaimanyah. 3. Plan to drill deep water well & construction of pump house in Ranya city. 4. Plan to construct of sewerage network and manholes in Qaladize sub district. UNICEF: Provided two booster pumps for Darbandikhan district water system based on the request letter and specifications were received from directorate of Sulaimaniyah surrounding water. Gaps& needs 1. Dargala village in Zhrawa subdistrict contain 60 familes they are facing lack of water and they need new borehole to be dig. 2. Needs of the repair and maintenance for the Water Project that provides water to the Sarwchawa and Shkarta sub districts in Raapreen administration. 3. Deep water well in Rapareen quarter - Rizgary sub district. 4. Water network need to Rizgary sub district. 5. Water pipe conveyor to Pebaz sub district. 6. Water tank need to Qurato sub district.
