This field guide aims at giving comprehensive information about the key species endan- gered, vulnerable or critically endangered in Lebanese and Jordanian protected areas of the MEET project. The Mediterranean Experience of Ecotourism (MEET) project develops an ecotourism model for Mediterranean Protected Areas based on the “European Charter for Sustainable Tour- ism” to promote a better seasonal distribution of tourism flows. The MEET catalogue fosters authentic and ac- tive exchange between visitors, local people, and Protected Areas, resulting in conservation of natural and cultural resources and revital- A Field ization of less developed communities.
