Employment in both the new and modernising industries and the service sector will drive local wealth and draw on a more skilled labour force, which is more likely to be resident in the Borough, itself increasingly recognised for its attractive and wide-ranging urban and rural assets. Redcar & Cleveland is a diverse Borough ranging from coast to country, seaside towns to market towns, from suburban to rural and from heavy industry to national parks.
