This two-in-one full day tour offers an unparalleled Yosemite experience, and includes a moderate 2½ to 3-mile round trip walk through an old growth forest to a majestic Sequoia grove. Reservations encouraged, 9am-5:30pm, $175 per adult, $95 per youth (8-12) Yosemite Valley & Glacier Point Tour (with Optional Hike) This wide-ranging tour takes you high above the Yosemite Valley floor to a magnificent vista, Glacier Point. Enjoy panoramic views of Yosemite Valley and Half Dome, then continue on with a memorable tour of the Valley, visiting impressive waterfalls, scenic vistas and other famous attractions. You’ll have the option to take a spectacular self-guided hike down the famous Four Mile Trail. Reservations encouraged, 9am-5pm, $175 per adult, $95 per youth (4-12) Upper Yosemite Falls Hike This 7.6-mile hike takes you to breathtaking panoramic views of Yosemite Valley and picturesque views of both Yosemite Falls and Half Dome. During spring or early summer witness Yosemite Falls roaring in full effect. This is the ultimate stair master hike, so prepare yourself for a strenuous workout. Your naturalist guide will you take you to the top of the highest waterfall in North America (2,450 feet). If you are looking for a challenge and a way to see breathtaking views of both waterfalls and the valley from above, this is the tour for you! Reservations encouraged – see recreation for current start times, $175 per person age 14 & up Big Trees Hike & Swim* Experience the unique beauty and majesty of the western Sierra on this half-day adventure to Yosemite’s Giant Sequoias. This 3-mile round-trip historic walk takes you along one of the first roads into Yosemite and into a grove of Giant Sequoias, the largest living tree species on Earth! Just as the day starts to heat up we’ll head deeper into Yosemite for lunch beside one of our favorite swimming holes. Reservations encouraged, 9am-2:30pm, $150 adults, $80 per youth (8-12) *Swimming is dependent on water levels. Contact the Recreation Desk for current water levels. Rainbow Pools Bike & Swim* Enjoy stunning vistas over the Tuolumne River canyon and blooming wildflowers on our 10-mile one-way bike ride to the beautiful and historic Rainbow Pools swimming hole. Join our knowledgeable naturalist guides for a picnic, and swim beneath waterfalls before our van takes us back to the lodge. Reservations encouraged, 9:30am-2pm, $150 per adult, $80 per youth (10-12) *Swimming is dependent on water levels. Contact the Recreation Desk for current water levels. South Rim of Yosemite Valley Naturalist Hike Skip past the summer crowds and take the high road with our fun and informative naturalist guides. This 10.5-mile round-trip hike starts with Red Fir groves and meadows of wildflowers that are home to historic sites like McGurk’s cabin from the late 1800’s. At the southern rim, you’ll be rewarded with distinctive views of El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, the Three Brothers and other famous Yosemite icons. Reservations encouraged, 8:30am-5pm, $195 per adult Sunset Vista Happy Hour Tour What better way to end your day in Yosemite than watching the last rays of the sun illuminate the majestic Tuolumne River Valley? Our guide will drive you up to a dramatic vista where you can relax with some wine (or a non-alcoholic beverage) and snack on a delicious cheese plate. Bring your camera to catch the amazing views, and maybe some twilight wildlife! Reservations encouraged, departure time varies, $55 per adult, $30 per youth (12 and under) VISIT THE RECREATION CENTER ACTIVITY DESK FOR TRIP DETAILS. HOMEMADE SANDWICHES & SALADS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE GENERAL STORE FOR YOUR GUIDED TRIPS OR SELF-GUIDED ADVENTURES. GUIDED RECREATION FLY FISHING & Fly Fishing Trips RAFTING Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced fly fisher who wants access to the best fishing holes, our outfitter’s private fishing trips will get you away from the crowds, so you can enjoy fishing in some of Yosemite’s most beautiful locations. Our partner’s guides will provide transportation, help you with your cast, share tips and techniques, teach you how to read water, or just provide the right fly for a certain fish. Private Half Day prices start at $300, Private Full Day prices start at $300 Rafting Trips on the Tuolumne & Merced Rivers Experience the exhilaration of the finest whitewater rafting in the state on the beautiful Merced and Tuolumne Rivers (class III to V). STARGAZING Guided Stargazing Experience the night sky like never before! Far from light pollution, you’ll be up close to nature’s light show, gazing through our Dobsonian telescope. Observe stars, planets, constellations, and glimmering galaxies while listening to fun facts and mythology of the night’s sky. See Recreation for details and availability, $35 per adult $15 per youth (12 and under). WELLNESS Therapeutic Massage Round out your Yosemite adventure with our talented team of certified massage therapists. Our revitalizing massages include a balancing Evergreen Signature, relaxing Swedish, therapeutic Deep Tissue, soothing Hot Stone, comforting Pregnancy massage, and other treatments and enhancements. Use felt or foam paper to design your own owl mask • Build A Birdfeeder: 3-5pm, Recreation Center ($15 per birdfeeder, ages 8 & up) Assemble your very own birdfeeder made from recycled cedar fencing • Natural History Film: 5pm, Tuolumne Hall Theater.
