The habitats included woodland, meadowland, flood meadows, roadsides, riversides, wetlands and mountainous areas. He said that the small-leaved lime is a sign of an old woodland; the bluebell is less common; 95% of the meadowlands have been lost since the second world war and some black poplar is found along riversides.
