Last day to file for unevaluated withdrawal (“W”) from courses . APRIL 17 - 26 (SUN.-TUES.) Spring recess . No classes are scheduled. APRIL 27 (WED.) Classes resume. April 29 (FRI.) Last day to deposit dissertation or thesis for a May 27, 2011 degree. MAY 5 – JUNE 3 (THURS.-FRI.) TENTATIVE Registration for Fall 2011 semester for those enrolled in the Spring 2011 semester without the imposition of a $25 late registration fee. MAY 19 (THURS.) Reading Day. MAY 20-27 (FRI .- FRI .) Fifteenth week of the semester including Final Examination Period. MAY 27 (FRI.) Commencement JUNE 3 (FRI.) A late registration fee of $25 will be applied to all registrations for the Fall 2011 semester after this date for those students registered for the Spring 2011 semester. IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS Measles/Mumps/Rubella In accordance with New York State Public Health Law, Article 21, Title VI, Section 2165, all full- and part-time students who were born on or after January 1, 1957, must present proof of immunization against measles, mumps, and rubella. The Graduate Center will cancel or bar the registration of those students who do not com - ply. Students who register and are subsequently barred from attending class will receive “WA” (administrative withdrawal) grades and are tuition liable. Health records will be kept confidential and will be available for reference only to those Graduate School personnel whose job duties require information from those records. Some students may be exempt from this requirement. A copy of Public Health Law 2165 is available in each of the Student Services Offices as well as in the Office of the Dean for Student Affairs.The Graduate School and University Center of The City University of New York Meningitis New York State Public Health Law 2167 requires that all college and university students enrolled for at least six semester hours return a Meningococcal Meningitis Vaccination Response Form before they may register for the Spring 2006 semester. All matriculated students (both new and continuing) should have received a form by mail. Additional forms are available in the Wellness Center, Room 6422 IMPORTANT NOTICE OF POSSIBLE CHANGES The City University of New York reserves the right, because of changing conditions, to make modifications of any nature in the academic programs and requirements of the University and its constituent colleges without advance notice. Tuition and fees set forth in this publication are similarly subject to change by the Board of Trustees of The City University of New York. The University regrets any inconvenience this may cause.
