The session was organised Company Ltd (Chola MS) on 14th July at the Chola MS office, as part of I And We Warehouse program. A pitch session was conducted with representatives from The RPG-Sanjiv Goenka Group on 19th July at their Kolkata office. They explored RPG – Sanjiv Goenka collaborations with startups in the Automotive space, owing to their interest across diverse business sectors such as Power & Natural Resources, Carbon Group Black, IT & Education, Infrastructure, Retail, Media, Entertainment & Sports. Startup Dabadigo were thrilled with the opportunity to showcase their product, during the session. August The leadership team of Hindustan Unilever was hosted at the Bangalore Warehouse on 8th August. The team was led by Andrew Hill – VP Hindustan Unilever Ltd. Information & Analytics, Meenakshi Burra – Director Information & (Enterprise Support Analytics and Aneesh Chaudhry – Head of Data & Analytics South Asia. and IT Innovation) They interacted with start-ups in the Retail space such as, Insight Jedi, Ecobillz, Dataweave and Liv.ai, with the agenda to explore synergies for collaboration on relevant use-cases. The Bangalore Warehouse played host to Sunil Kumar - Head of Payments Change, along with Gopalakrishnan Balasubramanian – Head, Operations Delivery – India, and their team from RBS, on 10th August. The delegation comprised of professionals in the mid & senior level management from Royal Bank of Scotland domains such as Change, Design and Payments. An interactive discussion with shortlisted start-ups in the Payment space was the highlight of the visit, as they deliberated opportunities for further associations. Some of the Startups that they interacted with include Cashfree, ToneTag, Novopay & Paysack. An exclusive pitch session was organised with Shiozaki - CMD of Mitsubishi Corporation India and Masayo Kitahara - Planning & Coordination Dept., Mitsubishi, during their visit to the Bangalore Warehouse on 20th August. Mitsubishi An exclusive networking session was conducted with start-ups in Agritech, Mobility and Healthtech space, leading to collaboration opportunities for the future. The Suzuki Leadership delegation visited the Bangalore Warehouse for an exploratory visit to understand the Indian start-up ecosystem and recognise opportunities with start-ups, on 21st August. The delegation was led by Junya Kumataki - Head of Connected Business, Suzuki HQ, Hisanori Suzuki Takasiba - Head of R&D, Suzuki HQ, Hirobumi Awakawa - Advisor of Vehicle Electricals & Electronics, Maruti Suzuki Engineering, along with their team. Both, startups as well as the visiting team took part in exciting debates on how to innovate in the fields of Telamatics & IoT. A pitch session was conducted for the Executive Team of Hitachi on 24th August, at the Bangalore Warehouse. The delegation comprised of leaders Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. from the Hitachi India Board and the Hitachi Japan management. They interacted with startups in AI, Machine learning and IoT space and expressed their appreciation for NIPP. PAGE 2 Startups from Gurgaon & Noida had the opportunity to take part in an exclusive pitch session with the . The session was conducted CK Birla Group CK Birla Group on 24th August at the Gurgaon Warehouse, with each startup being given one-on-one time for close interaction with the corporate.v er Septemb NIPP hosted Neeraj Tolmare - CIO & Global Head of Digital and Innovation, Coca Cola, along with Sanjay Rawal - CIO, Coca-Cola India on 5th Coca Cola September. The session also saw the participation of SWA as one of the Corporate Partners under NIPP. The meeting ended with productive discussions with 3 start-ups in Retail space. A delegation from Hays were hosted at the Gurgaon Warehouse on 12th September for a meeting with startups that were specifically working in the Hays Blockchain platform, such as HapRamp & Authorito. The session paved way to discussions on further growth prospects between the startups and Hays. Ajit Sengar - Strategy Head, Mahindra Powerol, participated in an Mahindra Poweral interactive pitch session with startups Rightwatts and Beatroute in the Gurgaon Warehouse, on 17th September. r Octobe The Yamaha Motors Venture leadership team visited the Bangalore Warehouse on 23rd October. The team consisted of Sr. leaders, Ray Yamaha Motors Venture Edwards - General Manager of ICT Business Development from YMVSV (U.S.), Lalit Sharma - Head Emerging Technology & Innovation from YMSLI (India) and Furusaki Satoshi - Chief Digital Officer from YMSLJ (Japan) er Novemb Christophe Leblanc - Head RESG, Société Generale, visited the Bangalore Warehouse on the 2nd November, along with Sunil Shah - CEO, SG Global Solutions Center, India, and Rathnaprabha Manickavachagam - Director, Innovation and Digital Transformation, Société Generale Global Solution . One of the earliest partners to join programme, the Société Generale Centre NIPP Société Generale delegation met with deep-tech start-ups at the warehouse and discussed startup trends in the banking industry. A tour of the facility was followed by a dialogue on the ‘Evolving Start-up Ecosystem’ in India. Lrnr, Merak.ai & Highway Delite (startups part of the Catalyst program) presented their solutions to the leadership team. The Senior Leadership team of General Mills visited the Bangalore Warehouse on 21st November. During the visit, they were given an overview of NASSCOM, 10,000 Startups and NIPP program, followed by a Warehouse General Mills tour. Startups Insight Jedi & Neewee Analytics pitched their solutions to General Mills in the areas of Data Analytics and Data Intelligence, for which they received a warm response. PAGE 3 er Decemb The Senior Leadership team from Amadeus, comprising of 14 delegates, visited the Bangalore Warehouse on 4th December. The delegation was addressed by K.S. Viswanathan – V.P., Industry Initiatives, NASSCOM, followed by a tour of the facility. Some of the prominent leaders who were Amadeus present included, Denis Lacroix - SVP, Core Shared Services R&D, Jerome D. - Head of Search Shopping & Pricing Organization and Marc Campora - Head of Architecture, R&D. Startups Axisrooms & AskSid were given an opportunity to present their solutions in the Travel Technology space, which were well received by the leadership team. An exclusive pitch session was organised for Fidelity Investments, at the Bangalore Warehouse, on 5th December. Senior representatives who were Fidelity Investments hosted included Wilson D'Souza - Head of Technology, Fidelity Wealth Technologies and Samir Kakkar - Vice President, Product Engineering at Fidsafe.com NIPP hosted Liu Dong - Huawei IT Product Line, Startup Investment & Acquisition Leader and Raj Stanley - Head of Technology Corporation, Huawei Technologies India, at the Bangalore Warehouse on 5th December. Huawei The visitors were excited to interact with 3 deep-tech startups, with the aim to understand the maturity of the Indian startup ecosystem and explore synergies for further collaborations. Royal Bank of Scotland Yamaha Motors Venture Société Generale General Mills Société Generale Amadeus Huawei Amadeus Fidelity Investments PAGE 4 NIPP Partner Events Upstart PayU The Bhubaneswar edition of Upstart PayU saw the participation of 40+ teams from the 10,000 Startups ecosystem. The session conducted on 4th August included a witty and humorous talk by Ajit Kumar Dash of FDS, Hive - India’s largest foray into online enrolment for admissions space, making the edition worth attending and watching for everyone. NIPP Accelerator Roundtable NIPP supported an accelerator roundtable on 29th August, at the Bangalore Warehouse, where corporate accelerators in India were invited to be a part of a pioneering research to help dig deeper, share nuggets of valuable information and provide their expertise in shaping the conversation around start-up acceleration and intrapreneurship. Participating corporates included Oracle, Brigade Reap, Airbus Biz Labs, Google Launchpad, NetApp, Axis Bank Thought Factory, Axilor Ventures & Grant Thorton. Themes explored: • Purpose – The Objectives behind creating the Accelerator Programme • Principles – Guidelines adopted • People – Selection criteria used/competencies necessary for individuals or teams to be a part of the programme • Practices – Working models for the programme • Culture and Climate – Requirement to create a different culture compared to the norm & treatment of participants • Impact – Outcomes achieved as a result of this programme and extent of objectives met • Personal Journey - Experiences • Learnings
