Purebreds 2 years & older must be registered with the Cleveland Bay Horse Society of the UK. Purebreds under 2 years must be fully eligible for entry in the CBHS Stud Book. Otherwise they will show as partbreds. ■ All horses must be accompanied by a record of a negative Equine Infectious Anemia (Coggins) test within the last 12 months and all equine exhibitors must fill out a Self Certification of Equine Health. ■ Bridles mandatory on horses 2 years & older for in hand classes. ■ Horses showing in the Novice Hunter Division may not compete for placings in other ridden divisions. ■ Mail pre-entries to: Marcia Brody, PO Box 707, Middletown, MD 21769 . 1. Purebred Cleveland Bay In Hand, 3 & Younger -- To be shown in hand at a walk & trot. 2. Purebred Cleveland Bay In Hand, 4 & Older -- To be shown in hand at a walk & trot. 3. Partbred Cleveland Bay in Hand, 3 & Younger -– To be shown in hand at a walk & trot. 4. Partbred Cleveland Bay Hunter In Hand, 4 & Older – To be shown in hand at a walk & trot. Junior Champion (the 1st & 2nd place entries in classes 1 and 3 will return to the ring and be judged for Jr. Champion & Jr. Reserve Champion) Senior Champion (the 1st & 2nd place entries from classes 2 and 4 will return to the ring and be judged for Sr. Champion & Sr. Reserve Champion) Grand Champion (the 1st & 2nd place entries from classes 1 thru 4 will return to the ring to be judged for Grand Champion & Reserve Grand Champion) 5. Cleveland Bay Get-of-Sire or Produce-of-Dam In Hand – Two offspring sharing either the same dam or sire, to be shown in hand at a walk & trot. This class does not count toward the show championship. 6. Cleveland Bay In Harness – To be judged or for exhibition, dependent on entries. 7. Dressage Suitability – To be judged at walk, trot & canter. Extension and collection may be requested. Horses need not be trained extensively in dressage to exhibit in this class. 8. Novice Hunter Under Saddle – Open to horses in their first or second year of showing under tack. To be shown at the walk, trot & canter. Entries may not be judged in other ridden divisions except Class 6. 9. Novice Hunter Over Fences I – Open to horses in their first or second year of showing under tack. To be shown over a course of 6-8 jumps at 2’. Simple changes allowed. Entries may not be judged in other ridden divisions except Class 6. 10. Novice Hunter Over Fences II – Same as Class 9. Different course. Novice Hunter Champion & Reserve Champion 11. Cleveland Bay Hunter Under Saddle – To be shown at a walk, trot & canter both ways of the ring. 12. Cleveland Bay Hunter Hack – To be shown at a walk, trot & canter both ways of the ring, and jump two jumps at 2’6”. May be asked to show at the hand-gallop, at the discretion of the judge. 13. Cleveland Bay Hunter Over Fences I – To be shown over a course of 8 fences at 2’6”. Judged on performance, soundness, suitability and manners. 14. Cleveland Bay Hunter Over Fences II – same as Class 12. Different course. Cleveland Bay Hunter Champion & Reserve Champion 15. Cleveland Bay Working Hunter Under Saddle – To be shown at the walk, trot, & canter both ways of the ring. May be asked to show at the hand-gallop, at the discretion of the judge. 16. Cleveland Bay Working Hunter Over Fences – To be shown at a course of 8 fences at 2’9” – 3’. Judged on performance, soundness, suitability and manners. 17. Cleveland Bay Working Hunter Over Fences – Same as Class 13. Different course. Cleveland Bay Working Hunter Champion and Reserve Champion Thomas C.H. Webster and *Ramblers Renown Memorial Perpetual Trophy - Given by the Webster Family to the High Point Cleveland Bay Horse (Partbred or Purebred, registered or unregistered). High-Point Rosettes for the highest-scoring registered Purebred & registered Partbred Cleveland Bay in the show. **Ticketed schooling rounds to be permitted unjudged at all levels for $12 per round..
