Its name is AURELIA, followed by the building project number B10. 5.451 units are manufactured between 1950 and 1953. 583 chassis are also prepared in the same period for the making of custom-built cars. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 1,750 cc. Hp 56. AURELIA B12, chassis n. 2374 The new sedan, the AURELIA B12, is launched. It features a new body and new mechanical part with an increased capacity. The cylinder block casting, the crankshaft supports and the oil filter are new. The car on display, which has always been property of the Minerbi family, celebrated the Lancia 100th birthday in 2006 by going across the USA on the famous Route 66, driven by journalist Marcello Minerbi. 2.400 units are manufactured between 1954 and 1955. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 2,266 cc. Hp 87. AURELIA B20 First Series, chassis n.1404 2-door coupé targeted to the emerging “Gran Turismo” market segment. The car was almost unbeatable, above all in hillclimbs, thanks to the remarkable torque of its 6-cylinder engine. 498 units are manufactured between 1951 and 1952. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 1,991 cc. Hp 75. AURELIA B20 Second Series, chassis n. 1768 The body is modified and the redesigned dashboard now includes the tachometer. The side line ends with a more protruding fin terminal. The power is enhanced by increasing the compression ratio. 673 units are manufactured between 1952 and 1953. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 1,991 cc. Hp 80. AURELIA B20 Second Series, chassis n. 1877 The car on display participated in the 1953 edition of the Mille Miglia in the current configuration. The body was updated: now, bumpers have no more guards, which were present in the previous series. This version features larger brakes. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 1,991 cc. Hp 80. AURELIA B20 Third Series, chassis n. 2660 The new coupé is presented with substantial changes to the body, which draws inspiration from the 7 racing models of the Second Series. Mechanisms are substantially modified by increasing the stroke and bore and making a new camshaft profile, a new carburetor and new engine block and cylinder head castings. The longer rear-axle ratio pushes it to the max. Speed of 185 Km/h. 720 units are manufactured between 1953 and 1954. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 2,451 cc.Hp 118. AURELIA B20S Fourth Series, chassis n. 1218 Slight changes to the outer body, reverse gear light and windscreen washer jets. New rear suspension, which now features semi-independent “De Dion” type gears. Effective from 1955, polarized windows are mounted and left-hand drive is available. Units equipped this way are identified by the suffix “S”, which comes before the frame number. 1.000 units are manufactured between 1954 and 1955. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 2,451 cc.Hp 118. AURELIA B20 Fifth Series, chassis n. 3745 The body remains unchanged, but the dashboard has new colors and includes new Jaeger instruments. The reverse gear light disappears. Wheel hub covers are changed. Lower power engine, reduction of maximum speed. Larger brake-shoes, hydraulic clutch control. 299 units are manufactured in 1956. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 2,451 cc. Hp 110. AURELIA B20S Sixth Series, chassis n. 1772 Deflectors are added to side windows and the chrome-plated spoiler in the middle of the hood is eliminated. The mechanical part is unchanged, but rear leaf springs are strengthened and new changes to front brakes are made. 621 units are manufactured between 1957 and 1958. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 2,451 cc. Hp 112. AURELIA B24S Spider, chassis n. 1002 The car on display was presented at the 1955 Brussels car show as the absolute novelty of Casa Lancia. Panoramic windscreen with backdrawn stiles, 2-section bumpers, doors without lifting windows and handles, low and tapered hood, barely visible fins. Same mechanical part as in the B20 Fourth Series with wheelbase shortened by 20 cm. 240 units are manufactured in 1955. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 2,451 cc. Hp 118. AURELIA B24S Convertible, chassis n. 1598 The 1956 Turin car show is the venue for the presentation of the B24, which has undergone substantial restyling and has become more user-friendly and comfortable, yet less aggressive. Its current name is “Convertible”. Its mechanical part includes the changes made to the B20 Fifth Series. 521 units are manufactured between 1956 and 1958. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 2,451 cc. Hp 110. AURELIA B53 Carrozzeria Viotti, chassis n. 1003 Floorpan and mechanical parts delivered by the Car-Maker to Carrozzeria Viotti in 1952 for the making of a “Giardinetta”, a name patented by Vittorino Viotti to identify a station wagon, and later entered in popular usage. The car is characterized by doors covered by wooden panels. It shares its mechanical part with the B21 sedan. 58 units are manufactured. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 1,991 cc. Hp 70. AURELIA B52 Carrozzeria Bertone, chassis n. 1074 Floorpan and mechanical parts delivered by the Car-Maker to Carrozzeria Bertone in late 1951 for the making of a coupé to be exhibited in the 1951 edition of the Turin car show. It shares its mechanical part with the B21 sedan. One unit only was manufactured. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 1,991 cc. Hp 70. AURELIA B50 Carrozzeria Pinin Farina, chassis n. 1225 Floorpan and mechanical parts delivered by the Car-Maker to Carrozzeria Pinin Farina in 1951 for the making of a special cabriolet, which is the only one still existing. The car was delivered to Princess Furstin von Bismarck. It shares its mechanical part with the B10 sedan. Very few units are manufactured. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 1,750 cc. Hp 56. AURELIA B50 Carrozzeria Pinin Farina, chassis n. 1206 Floorpan and mechanical parts delivered by the Car-Maker to Carrozzeria Pinin in mid-1951 for the making of the standard cabriolet. Sold by Car dealer Minetti in Milan. It shares its mechanical part with the B10 sedan. About 250 units are manufactured. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 1,750 cc. Hp 56. AURELIA B53 Carrozzeria Balbo, chassis n. 1016 Floorpan and mechanical parts delivered by the Car-Maker to Carrozzeria Balbo in 1952, as the execution of an early design by Francesco Scaglione. It seems that the famous designer got inspiration for this creation of his when designed the lines of the rear top of the Giulietta Sprint. It shares its mechanical part with the B21 sedan with the Nardi change to suction manifolds. One unit only was manufactured. 60° V6 engine. Capacity 1,991 cc. Hp 70. APRILIA BILUX Carrozzeria Pinin Farina Carrozzeria Pinin Farina makes some models on the mechanical part of Aprilia, called Bilux, from 1946 to 1949. The fluid line of the car, whose mudguards are barely drafted and almost included in the body, foreshadows the new Lancia to come: the Aurelia. It shares its mechanical part with the B21 sedan Mechanical details of the Aprilia 1500. Tight V 4 cylinder engine. Capacity 1,486 cc. Hp 48. FLORIDA II Carrozzeria Pinin Farina In 1957, Carrozzeria Pinin Farina draws its inspiration from its previous creation, the Florida, to make the Florida II, the prototype of the future Flaminia Coupè, whose production will start in 1959. The car on display was used personally by the founder of Carrozzeria Pinin Farina, Battista Pininfarina, for quite a while. Mechanical part of the Flaminia sedan.
