You contributed more than $1.052 million, supporting more than 1,036 charities that respond to urgent needs in our community, our nation and the world. Thank you, and let’s continue our solid support of CFC. You worked to cure disease. You sheltered women and children from abuse. You fed the hungry. You clothed the homeless. You rescued animals. You protected the environment. You restored the lives of natural disaster victims at home and around the world. You supported federal, military, and postal employee families’ right here at home. On behalf of every man, woman and child who benefited from your generosity, please accept our heartfelt thanks. Despite our best efforts, there are still those among us who face overwhelming circumstances: life-threatening illness, poverty, despair. The 2016 CFC gives each of us an opportunity to really make a difference in whatever way we choose. And we can have confidence in our choices.
