MacDonald Memorial Scholarship</p><p>Amount: $~1,200* ($600 per semester) *(not yet determined) Availability: Annually, Nonrenewable</p><p>Who Should Apply</p><p>College of Business majors (accounting, business administration, business economics, finance, health care administration, information systems, management, marketing) with junior standing (60-89 credits) as of Fall, 2016.</p><p>Criteria  Admission to the College of Business as of Fall 2016  Full-time student standing (12+ credits) during the Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 semesters  Involvement in university, business college or departmental activities  Potential for leadership as demonstrated by college activities  GPA of 3.0 or higher</p><p>Application Procedures</p><p>Please submit the following information to the College of Business Scholarship Committee, Schneider Hall 110 by Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 4 PM:</p><p> Completed application form (see the reverse side of this announcement)  Advising (unofficial) academic transcript  Resume showing evidence of involvement in student organizations, academic excellence, and leadership  Brief narrative explaining why applicant is applying for the Robert D. MacDonald Memorial Scholarship and what distinguishes his or her application from others</p><p>An incomplete application packet will disqualify a student from scholarship consideration.</p><p>Selection Procedures</p><p>The College of Business Scholarship Committee selects the award recipient. If a tie appears in the selection of a candidate and one of the applicants is an accounting major, the award shall be given to the accounting student.</p><p>Notification</p><p>By letter.</p><p>Special Notes The Robert D. MacDonald Scholarship was created by the College of Business faculty in honor of their colleague, Dr. Robert MacDonald.
