<p> FAMILY CAMPOUT CHECKLIST FOR PACK OVERNIGHTER</p><p>The following is a list of equipment that will be useful on our campout. Check off each item as you pack your equipment. If you don’t have a particular piece of camping equipment, please let your Den Leader know what you need. We’ll try to arrange for a “Loaner”.</p><p>Camping Equipment  Medications  Water bottle  Tent or tarp, poles and stakes  Flashlight for each camper  Waterproof ground cloth / plastic sheet  Extra flashlight bulb  Sleeping bags  Extra batteries  Warm blankets  Sunscreen  Pillows  Lip Balm with sunscreen  Air mattresses or pads  Sunglasses  Insect repellent Clothing  Safety pins  Whistle  Cub Scout Uniform (Class A & Class B)  Reflective device  Play clothes when not in uniform  First aid kit: Triangular bandage, 3” sterile pads, tape,  Hiking boots roller bandage (1” & 2”), gauze pads, scissors, tweezers,  Comfortable shoes sunburn lotion, lip salve, poison-ivy lotion, antiseptic,  Warm coat absorbent cotton, adhesive strips, safety pins, instant ice  Raingear pack, vinyl gloves, small bar of soap.  Warm cap  Hat / cap for sun protection Extras  Gloves  Sweatshirt  Watch  Underwear  Camera and film  Pajamas (or sweatshirt & sweatpants)  Binoculars  Extra socks, shoes, and other clothing  Cub Scout Handbook  Small notepad and pencil Family Gear  Reading material</p><p> Lawn chairs Program Specific Items  Seat cushions or blankets to sit on in the amphitheatre where the Pack Meeting Friday and  Compass Campfire Saturday will be held  Nature books  Umbrella or other shade equipment  Cooking equipment if requested by Cubmaster What NOT to Bring  Between meal snacks (fruit, trail mix, Power Bars, etc.)  Electronics (No games, radios, MP3 players, cell phones for the Cubs – Phones, etc. okay for adults) Toiletry Kit  Weapons  Fireworks  Toothpaste  Matches  Toothbrush  Flammable liquids  Comb  Valuables  Washcloth  Alcoholic beverages (Prohibited for Adults also)  Towel  Tobacco products (Adult use allowed if out of  Soap in waterproof container sight of Scouts)  Extra plastic bag  Cubs will not need pocket knives on this campout</p><p>Safety </p>
