<p>Registration open until 1 April 2017 Scholarships available for Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management –––</p><p>Luxembourg, 15 February 2017 – Registration is open for the new Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management offered by the University of Luxembourg in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with merit-based scholarships introduced for the inaugural cohort of students starting with the winter semester 2017-2018.</p><p>The 10-month full-time programme of study, taught in English, includes a three-week study period at the MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where students will attend lectures and seminars, visit companies, meet supply chain experts and industry leaders, and interact with students from the MIT’s Global Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Network. In addition to their University of Luxembourg Master diploma, graduates will receive a graduate certificate from MIT upon successful completion of the programme.</p><p>The Master programme, offered through the University’s Luxembourg Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LCL), focuses on logistics and supply chain management methods and systems, combined with leadership and management courses. Students will apply theoretical knowledge to real-life contexts, highlighted by the Master thesis written in participation of an LCL partner company. Through close industry cooperation, students will be able to build a useful network of contacts during their studies in a growing sector of the local economy.</p><p>Associate Prof. Steffen Klosterhalfen, Course Director of the Master programme, commented: “The programme not only provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in today's competitive supply chain management world, but they also become part of a unique network of supply chain professionals opening the door to a wealth of employment opportunities.”</p><p>The course is aimed at professionals looking to specialise in logistics and supply chain management as well as recent graduates from an undergraduate programme in business, engineering, or related fields.
