Bhubaneswar and to be addressed to the D.G.M. , Allahabad Bank, Zonal Office, Bhubaneswar, 3/1-B, IRC Village, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar- 751015 and shall be dropped in the tender box kept at our zonal office as per following programme. 1 Issue of Tender From 19.03.2014 to 25.03.2014 Document 2 Time of completion one week 3 Submission of Tender On or before 25.03.2014 upto 17.00 hrs. 4 Opening of Tender On 26.03.2014 at 11.00 hrs. 5 Taxes The price quoted will be inclusive of all types of taxes, VAT, loading, unloading, carriage, etc required for completion of work. 6 Liquidated damages Should the work be not completed to the satisfaction of the for delay Employer within the stipulated period, the contractor shall be bound to pay the Employer a sum equivalent to 1% of the accepted tender per week subject to ceiling of 10% of the accepted contract amount by way of liquidated damages and not as penalty during which the work remains uncommented or unfinished after expiry of the completion date. 7 Payment Terms No advance will be paid. However, running bill during progress of work may be paid considering the progress of work. The payment will be made on the basis of actual measurement. Income tax will be deducted as per rule. Retention Money @ 10% will be deducted from the bill and will be released after 6 months from the date of virtual completion provided no defect is observed during the period. Final payment will be made on satisfactory completion of the job. The contractors should show their letter of empanelment issued by our Bank’s at the time of collecting tenders. The Bank will not be bound to accept the lowest tender and reserve the right to accept or reject any of all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.</p><p>Deputy General Manager</p>
