<p> Expression of Interest Ellerston Public School - Primary Principal</p><p>Expressions of interest are invited from teachers interested in a career opportunity relieving in the position of Primary Principal from 27 January 2017 to 7 April 2017 (Term 1, with the possibility of an extension). The position with be located at:</p><p>Ellerston Public School School Road Ellerston NSW 2337</p><p>Ellerston Public School is situated in picturesque surroundings 69 km north-east of Scone in the Upper Hunter, with an anticipated enrolment of 25 students in 2017. The school is very well resourced with an extremely supportive P and C. Ellerston Public School is part of a strong small schools' collegial network and is also part of the Wollemi Network. Ellerston has a strong focus on enhancing quality teaching practices, especially in literacy and numeracy, and has a focus on incorporating technology into learning. Rental accommodation in a nearby village is available. This is a teaching/administrative role.</p><p>An expression of interest addressing the criteria, of no more than 4 pages in length should be submitted to Mark Young, Director, Public Schools NSW, Wollemi Network at [email protected] by 4pm on Friday, 2 December 2016.</p><p>Selection criteria</p><p>High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education;</p><p>Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs;</p><p>High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community;</p><p>Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning;</p><p>Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning; and</p><p>Capacity to lead staff in implementing the departments Aboriginal education policies and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.</p><p>One of the referees listed must be the applicant’s current principal or supervisor for non-school-based staff.
