<p> Mike Epps September 2005 Athlete of the Month</p><p>Senior Mike Epps has been a starter for the Maroon Raiders Football Team since this sophomore year. Last year he was selected to Second Team All-League honors for his junior year efforts. During the month of September, he has rushed for over 400 yards and scored 5 touchdowns to help lead the team to their first three wins of the season over River Dell, Dumont and Rutherford. He is one of the key catalysts on the team and can be counted on in the trying situations. Besides being an explosive part of the offense, Mike is also a dominant force of the defensive side of the ball. </p><p>Last year Mike received the William M. Williams Award for achieving the amazing feat of scoring six touchdowns in a single game. His dedication to the sport and his hard work in practice has made him a treat to all the teams in the BCSL and an extremely valuable asset to our team. Besides having success on the football field, Mike is also one of the best track sprinters in the BCSL and will be counted on this spring to lead the Track Team.</p>
