Jay-c Entertainment is looking for nine bands to compete. There will be three sessions with three bands each. Three finalists will go to the last round and compete at 7pm where 105.7 the X will judge the winning band. </p><p>“Garage wars—local rock at its best,” said Kev “The Flyin’ Hawiian,” on air talent for 105.7 The X.</p><p>The winning band will receive a one year sponsorship with Budweiser and become the Budweiser True Music house band. Winner will also receive cash prizes, 10 hour studio time for professional recording, and an original cut on the Local Anesthetic show with Anna Kinkade on Sunday nights with 105.7 the X. Following the competition will be a jam session with the competing bands. </p><p>“105.7 the X has a long history of supporting our thriving local music scene, and this is yet another example of local rock musicians honing their craft. It’s a lot of fun for us,” said Matt Bahan, Program Director and Morning Show Host for 105.7 The X. </p><p>There is no cover charge for the event.
