Entrapment/Entrap.Def.-Info

It is a defense to prosecution that the defendant engaged in the conduct charged because he was induced to do so by a law enforcement agent using persuasion or other means likely to cause persons to commit the offense. Conduct merely affording a person an opportunity to commit an offense does not constitute entrapment. The term "Law Enforcement Agent" includes personnel of the State and local law enforcement agencies as well as of the United States and any person acting in accordance with instructions from such agents. Therefore, if you believe from the evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant committed the offense as alleged, but you further believe, or you have a reasonable doubt thereof, that he was induced to do so by who was a law enforcement agent, to-wit: an informant acting under specific instructions from police agents to entrap the defendant by persuasion or other means likely to cause persons to commit the offense, and that such conduct of said did not merely afford the defendant an opportunity to commit the offense, if any, then you will find the defendant not guilty.
