(TIM) WILKES OF FAIRFIELD 13 COUNTY, OUR FRIEND AND ESTEEMED COLLEAGUE, 14 FOR HIS TWELVE YEARS OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE AS 15 A MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. 16 17 Whereas, for the past twelve years, The Honorable Timothy C. 18 (Tim) Wilkes of Fairfield County has, with great distinction, 19 represented the citizens of District Number 41 in the House of 20 Representatives; and 21 22 Whereas, Representative Wilkes is retiring this year as a member 23 of the House; and 24 25 Whereas, he has served with great devotion to duty as a member of 26 the Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environmental Affairs 27 Committee of the House of Representatives and served as 28 Chairman of the Environmental Affairs Subcommittee; and 29 30 Whereas, he is a highly respected and admired certified public 31 accountant, real estate developer, and auctioneer; he is a charter 32 member of the Fairfield Sertoma Club; he served as Chairman of 33 the Board of the Winnsboro Downtown Development Association 34 (1986); he was a charter member and served as Chairman of the 35 Fairfield Area Citizens Task Force; he is a founding member of the 36 College Advisory Board for the University of South Carolina 37 College of Liberal Arts; and he has been a legislative member of 38 the Central Midlands Regional Planning Council; and 39 40 Whereas, he has been an outstanding legislator who has rendered 41 excellent and genuine devotion to duty as a House member; he is</p><p>1 [5116] 1 1 our good friend, and we will miss his presence in the House of 2 Representatives.
