<p> ADDENDUM NO. 1 PROJECT: GLOUCESTER PARKWAY ENTRANCE ENHANCEMENTS – SITE WORK LOUDOUN WATER IFB NO: 2016-036-RAR.00028A</p><p>To: Prospective Bidders of Record</p><p>Date: January 13, 2017</p><p>The following changes, additions, revisions, and/or deletions are hereby made a part of the Contract Documents for the aforementioned Project as fully and completely as if the same were fully set forth therein:</p><p>A. PART 1 – BIDDING REQUIREMENTS</p><p>This addendum does not change the Bidding Requirements.</p><p>B. PART 2 – CONTRACT FORMS</p><p>This addendum does not change the Contract Forms.</p><p>C. PART 3 – CONTRACT CONDITIONS</p><p>This addendum does not change the Contract Conditions.</p><p>D. PART 4 – SPECIFICATIONS</p><p>1. In Section 01010 – Summary of Work, ADD paragraph 1.02.D:</p><p>D. When on Loudoun Water property, Contractor shall ensure that all travelways are maintained clear of obstructions not to hinder traffic. Contractor shall install service lines crossing Loudoun Water Way via trenchless methods, as approved by Owner.</p><p>2. In Section 10437 – Panel Signage, REPLACE paragraph 2.2.B.1 with the following:</p><p>1. Solid-Sheet Sign: Steel or aluminum sheet with finish specified in “Surface Finish and Applied Graphics” subparagraph below and as follows:</p><p>3. In Section 10437 – Panel Signage, ADD paragraph 2.3.D: D. Aluminum Materials: </p><p>1. Aluminum Sheet and Plate: ASTM B209 (ASTM B209M), alloy and temper recommended by aluminum producer and finisher for type of use and finish indicated.</p><p>2. For aluminum exposed to view on completion, provide materials having flat, smooth surfaces without blemishes. Do not use materials whose surfaces exhibit pitting, seam marks, roller marks, rolled trade names, or roughness.</p><p>4. In Section 10437 – Panel Signage, ADD paragraph 2.8:</p><p>2.8 ALUMINUM FINISHES</p><p>A: Surface Preparation: Per manufacturer’s recommendations.</p><p>B: Factory Prime Finish: After surface preparation and pretreatment, apply manufacturer’s standard, fast-curing, lead- and chromate-free, universal primer.</p><p>C: Baked-Enamel or Powder-Coat Finish: After cleaning and pretreating, apply manufacturer’s standard two-coat, baked-on finish consisting of prime coat and thermosetting topcoat to a minimum dry film thickness of 2 mils (0.05 mm).</p><p>E.
