You are the Host! </p><p>The game must include a minimum of 25 trivia questions. Writing a good trivia question is much harder than it sounds. A lot of people think they can do it, only to be greeted with waves of complaints from furious players. The main skill you need is writing skill. Good writers can add excitement to questions. </p><p>There are a number of tricks that even good writers don't realize, and below are some hints that looks at specific questions and fixes them so that you write great questions.</p><p> Use solid sources and careful wording</p><p> Make dull questions fun</p><p> Match questions to the audience</p><p> Keep questions up to date</p><p> Use multiple choice questions if necessary</p><p> Keep opinions out of questions</p><p> Avoid trick questions </p><p>The perfect trivia question gets one of these responses:</p><p> I know this!</p><p> I used to know this, but let’s see if I can remember it now.</p><p> I don’t know this, but I think I can figure it out.</p><p> I didn’t know that, but that sure is interesting.</p><p> I didn’t know that, but you know … I really should have known it. Color Scheme / Backgrounds / Layout  Titles & Text stand out on each slide  The layout is visually pleasing and contributes to the overall 15 message with appropriate use of headings, subheadings and white space.</p><p>Easy to Read  Graphics explain & reinforce text and presentation.  Makes good use of font, color, graphics, and effects, to enhance 15 the presentation.</p><p>Hyperlinks  Did all the hyperlinks work? 20  Navigation was easy and made sense Animation / Transition / Sound  The graphics, sound and/or animation assist in presenting an overall theme and enhance understanding of concept, ideas and 10 relationships. Scoring / Plan / Execution during presentation  Does scoring and rules of game make sense? 10  Were the contestants kept on track?</p><p>Presentation / Game Show Host  Speaks clearly and distinctly; mispronounces no words  Stands up straight, looks relaxed and confident.
