Strauss, PO Box 603, Glen Wild, NY 12738 or by e-mail at [email protected] For further information please contact: Heather Strauss, Executive Director Telephone: 845-701-5022</p><p>S A V E T H E D A T E SCSBA Annual Dinner Wednesday, May 28, 2014 The Eagles Nest</p><p>THE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS OF SULLIVAN COUNTY ELDRED, FALLSBURG, LIBERTY, LIVINGSTON MANOR, MONTICELLO, ROSCOE, TRI-VALLEY, SULLIVAN WEST and SULLIVAN COUNTY BOCES Sullivan County School Boards Association</p><p>Outstanding Educator Award and Outstanding Friend to Education Award 2014</p><p>Outstanding Educator Award Purpose: to annually honor an educator who has made a significant impact on the education of children in Sullivan County.</p><p>Eligibility: the individual must be an educator who is or has been employed by a public school in the Sullivan County school districts. </p><p>Outstanding Friend to Education Award Purpose: to annually honor an individual who has made an impact on the education of children in Sullivan County.</p><p>Eligibility: the individual must be a resident of a Sullivan County school district who has contributed to the advancement of education.</p><p>Nominations: A nomination in one or both of the two categories may be made by a School Board, that is a current member of the Sullivan County School Boards Association. A nomination must be made in letter form naming the individual, and detailing the contribution this person has made to education. </p><p>Deadline: Nominations must be received by March 31, 2014</p><p>Selection: The Executive Board of the Sullivan County School Boards Association will set up a nomination committee that will select honoree(s) no later than April 30th. Announcements will be made at that time. </p><p>The Award: The selected recipient(s) will receive a plaque at the Annual Dinner of the Sullivan County School Boards Association, which will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 (place The Eagles Nest). The Association pays for dinner for each honoree and his/her guest.
