<p> TROUBLESHOOTING B-TEK DIGITAL LOAD CELLS</p><p>1) if there is a error code present on display Press Left arrow key (user menu key) bring up user menu and there will be a #10 present (DIAGNOSTIC) (if there is a error code)</p><p>Select that – That screen shows – serial numbers of load cells present</p><p>(in cell) in terminal address 1 “ “ “ 1-32 addressed load cells 2 “ “ “ 33-127 factory defaulted 3 “ “ “ load cell 4 “ “ “ 128 no connection 5 “ “ “ 6 “ “ “ 7 “ “ “ 8 “ “ “</p><p>2) if the first column doesn’t show serial # and reads “no connection” (check wiring or connections in J-Box)</p><p>3) readout talks to cells on RS485 loop, if loop is broken from bad cable or cell it will not talk to anything past the first one its not talking too.</p><p>Example : If screen shows no connection from cell #6, #7, #8 (#6 is first cell its not talking to). Omit #6 from system in J-Box install #8 in #6 hole and install current loop terminator in #8 hole in J-Box and see if it reads #7/#8 serial #, if it does check cell #6 cable and/or cell- if it doesn’t read 7 & 8 may have more than 1 cell/cable bad.</p>
