<p>Name: ______Number: ______</p><p>European Explorers Cereal Box Project</p><p>**Reminder: ALL SIDES need to be covered in paper to hide the original box**</p><p>Front of box:</p><p> Come up with a unique name for a new cereal that has to do with your explorer</p><p> Picture of your “cereal” that you are creating (example: for Henry Hudson you might want to make something like “Snowy-O’s” because he went through the Northwest Passage in Canada that was covered in ice)</p><p> Describe your cereal (ex. Snowy-O’s are a nutritious part of a balanced breakfast. They contain wheat, iron, and Vitamin D! Vitamin D is important because it comes from the sun, which there isn’t a whole lot of in Canada. NOW WITH FUN MARSHMALLOW SHAPES!! Shapes include: snowflakes, snowballs, icicles, rivers, straits, and bays!)</p><p> Come up with a mascot for your cereal (ex. Froot Loops has Toucan Sam)</p><p> Your front should be colorful, attractive, and FILLED with pictures that apply to your explorer! (Think of pictures of your cereal, a mascot for your cereal, pictures of your explorer, etc.)</p><p>Side 1 of box:</p><p> Nutrition table :Include Fact numbers: 1, 2, 4, 10, 11</p><p> “List of Ingredients”: Question number 8 (ex. Henry Hudson’s list of ingredients: brave, daring, courageous, adventurous, etc.)</p><p> Under nutrition table, include facts numbers: 3, 5, 6, 7, 8</p><p>Side 2 of box: Include in a list or bullet format (questions AND answers) questions 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20</p><p>Back of box: </p><p> Include a map of the area your explorer explored.</p><p> Create a puzzle that has to do with your explorer. Some examples include: word searches, crossword puzzles, fill in the blanks using symbols with a key (saying should have something to do with your explorer), etc.</p><p> Fit your five “fun facts” in this area. You can arrange them however you wish.</p><p> Any empty or blank areas should be filled with pictures about your explorer</p><p>Top of box:  Describe the fun “PRIZE INSIDE THE BOX!” Your “prize” should have something to do with your explorer. Try to make it out of materials at home.</p><p>Bottom of box : Include your name, number, and date.</p><p>Inside of Box : DON’T FORGET THE PRIZE!!!!</p>
