<p> Gender Inclusive Housing Participant Agreement/Expectations</p><p>I, ______, wish to be assigned to the Gender Inclusive Housing for the 20_____-20_____ academic year at Eastern CT State University. I understand and agree that by requesting and accepting such an assignment, I will abide by the following conditions: </p><p>1. I understand that I have the option to attend the Theme Housing Orientation Retreat that is tentatively scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2015. I must also complete associated orientation learning modules by the fall semester.</p><p>2. I will attend and participate in the fall and spring campus-wide Theme Housing event. Date and time will announced in advance and attendance is mandatory. </p><p>3. I understand that this housing option is for students who want to live together regardless of their biological sex, gender identity and/or gender expression.</p><p>4. I understand that Gender Inclusive Housing may be especially important for students who are in the process of discovering their gender identity, students who do not wish to identify themselves by gender, students who may identify with the gay, lesbian, or transgendered community, and/or students who feel more comfortable with a roommate of a different gender.</p><p>5. I will attend at least one program on the Cultural Celebrations calendar that revolves around LGBTQIAA issues in order to better educate myself on the issues surrounding the community. </p><p>6. I will attend the social event(s) sponsored for Gender Inclusive Housing. Must attend a minimum of one per semester.</p><p>7. I understand that there are various resources available to me throughout my time in Gender Inclusive Housing such as the Pride Room and Women’s Center.</p><p>8. I will participate in the assessment and evaluation processes developed by the Residential Life Office to help further my own academic success and the development of this program. </p><p>I understand that failure to comply with any of the above expectations and all other policies and procedures set forth by the Office of Housing and Residential Life and Eastern CT State University may result in one or more consequences: removal from the Theme Housing Program with a room reassignment to be determined by the Housing Office (based on room availability); or the loss of the ability to reapply for Theme Housing for the next academic year. </p><p>______Print Name Date</p><p>______Signature Student ID #</p>
