<p> REELZCHANNEL ANNOUNCED AS TELECAST PARTNER FOR THE 2011 PRIMETIME CREATIVE ARTS EMMY® AWARDS</p><p>Spike Jones, Jr. Returns To Produce The Show</p><p>NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA, August 15, 2011 – The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced today that REELZCHANNEL will broadcast the 2011 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards which will once again be produced by Spike Jones, Jr. The announcement was made by Television Academy Chairman and CEO John Shaffner. The awards will be taped on Saturday, September 10th and air on Saturday, September 17th at 8:00 PM ET and at 8:00 PM PT. While this marks the 17th year that Jones, Jr. has produced the awards, it is the first time REELZCHANNEL has broadcast the ceremony. </p><p>“It’s a pleasure to welcome back the very talented and innovative Spike Jones, Jr. as producer of the show, and we are thrilled to partner with REELZCHANNEL this year to broadcast the awards,” said John Shaffner. “The Primetime Creative Arts Emmys is always a special event during which the industry’s top talent turns out to honor some of the most creative and hard working people in television. Most recently, Jones, Jr. produced the 2011 WGA Awards hosted by Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.</p><p>Through his company SJ2 Entertainment, Spike Jones, Jr. has established himself as a leading player in the areas of awards shows and live TV variety shows. He has taken the Creative Arts ceremony from a dinner dance to a major annual event. He recently entered into the arena of reality-TV by co-creating and executive producing “Camping with the In-Laws”, a reality show pilot for Lifetime Network.
