<p> Promotional Bulletin Board UPDATES 2017</p><p>1. All teams are required to have 3 members, who will participate in the presentation portion of the contest.</p><p>2. The Technical Standards will be adjusted as follows:</p><p>11. Interview Component (400 points/40% of overall score) a. All team members shall be prepared to participate in the interview component. b. The interview component will consist of two parts: a presentation and a question and answer session c. Penalty points equal to 1/3 per member not presenting will be assessed.</p><p>12. Presentation m. Time frame for presentation is 5-7 minutes. n. Time penalty: 5 points for each fraction of 30 seconds under 5 minutes or over 7 minutes </p><p>3. Penalty points equal to 1/3 per member not presenting will be deducted from the presentation score.</p><p>4. Read the 2017/2018 Career Pathways Technical Standards as they have changed since last year.</p><p>5. Schedule</p><p> a. Tuesday  11 am — Contestant Check-in and Orientation (West Wing, Section A)  Resumes will be handed in at check-in and contestants will be in official dress.  Noon-4 pm Set-up. Contestants only; no advisors.</p><p> b. Wednesday</p><p>. 9 am — Contest begins</p><p> First Round Secondary presentations, board, notebooks, resumés</p><p>. 11:30 am — Lunch (will be flexible based on judging)</p><p>. 5 pm — Post Top 10 Secondary Finalists</p><p> c. Thursday</p><p> 8:30 am — Contest resumes</p><p> Second Round Presentations</p><p> Noon — Viewing: All contestants required to be at their boards for public viewing.</p><p> 4 pm — Debriefing  5 pm — Tear down</p>
