<p> 1st Annual One Lap of D/FW Charity Drive Sat, June 2, 2001</p><p>Saturday, June 2, 2001, the Porsche Club of America/Maverick Region invites you to participate in an All Metroplex Special Car Club event that will be a day long tour (8-5) around the D/FW area to benefit two lesser known local charity organizations that do not receive as much attention or help as other local charity groups: Familiar Footsteps is a home for mentally disabled adults and the Hope Shelter is a center for physically and mentally abused women and children. They are both performing great services for our community and deserve recognition and help. The Charity ONE LAP of D/FW hopes to bring these car clubs together to show, parade and visit with other people who have a passion about their vehicle marque and to generally have fun.
