<p> 2017 PORT HACKING ZONE CROSS COUNTRY CARNIVAL</p><p>Date: Friday, 26/05/17– 9 am start Venue: Miranda Park / Port Hacking High School Pointscore: A maximum of ten students per school per event. The first six runners to count in the Zone Championship. Recording: Place points will be awarded to the first six runners from each school. School teams not finishing at least six runners will be given an average of the sum of the places unfilled. School with the lowest points wins.</p><p>Team Events: In the school teams events, each team consists of the first four runners per school to complete the course. Where less than four runners from a school fail to complete the course, that team will not be considered in that team’s event.</p><p>Zone Team: Ten runners per event will progress to the Sydney East Area Carnival at Miranda Park, Wednesday, 14/6/16, with a maximum of twelve runners, where school teams are entered. School team entry will be at the discretion of the carnival managers. Times Submitted: Where a competitor cannot compete at the carnival and wishes to be considered for inclusion in the Zone Team, this must be submitted IN WRITING to the Convenor (Mrs Karen Goman – Sylvania HS) by Wednesday 1/6/16 with good reason and is verified by the School Sports Organiser. They must have competed in this carnival in previous year/s and have held a position in the P.H. Zone Team. Marshalling Approximately ten minutes prior to the events scheduled starting time.</p><p>Events are conducted over either 3000, 4000 or 6000 metres.
