<p> Accessing the Tommy Douglas School Portal</p><p>Provide the front office staff with your email address. School staff will enter the email address into our Student Information System (Maplewood). Within a day you will receive an email entitled “Welcome to our School Community Portal” from the Information Systems Department at our Division office. This email will give you a unique username (based on the telephone number we have for you on file) and a unique password. The email will also explain how you log onto the parent portal.</p><p>You may have received this email years ago when you child first registered with Saskatoon Public Schools. If you used the elementary school portal sites, the username and password are the same. If you don’t remember the username or password, visit the school’s portal page at: http://spslearn.spsd.sk.ca/schools/TDC/ and click the link at the bottom of the login page that says, “Parents – if you have forgotten your username or password please click HERE.” which will bring you here:</p><p> where you can reset your password or retrieve your username.</p><p>The username is the parent’s home number (not cell number…unless that’s all you have) we have for you in Maplewood with the prefix letter P and 306. For example: P3065551212</p><p>Note: Parents can send any other questions to [email protected] or go to http://www.spsd.sk.ca/parentFAQ/Pages/default.aspx for more information on the portal. </p><p>If you already have your username and password, you will be prompted to log in with a box similar to this:</p><p>Enter your username and password, and you will be directed to the school’s portal website.</p><p>Once in, you have access to the school information, and you can get to specific classrooms by clicking the “My Site” tab on the top bar: When you click on that, you will see a list of all the “Classes” that you have access to. If you do not see any, either your child’s teacher does not have one, or there is a problem. If you know your child’s teacher has one, contact them and alert them of your inability to access the site.</p><p>If you would like to see attendance data, timetable information, etc. for your child, click the “Maplewood for Parents” link on the right side of the page. This will bring you to the Maplewood login, which is a little different than the main portal login. In this site, the username is the same one used to access to school site in the previous steps.</p><p>If these steps do not work, contact the school for assistance. </p>
