<p> Ashland High School 2016 Lake Superior Conference Cross Country Championship Tuesday, October 11, 2016</p><p>TO: Co-Curricular Directors and Cross Country Coaches of: Ashland, Cloquet, Duluth Denfeld, Hermantown, Marshall, Proctor, Superior, Jessica Hirsch - I Timing, Greg Rigoni and Mike Jahn, Matt Lindberg</p><p>FROM: Brian Miller, Co-Curricular Director 715-682-7837 Dave Beeksma, Head Coach 715-685-4562</p><p>PLACE: Chequamegon Bay Golf Club on the west side of Ashland (Hwy 137).</p><p>RACE TIMES: 2:30 PM – Course opens for inspection 3:30 PM - Coaches Meeting (By the finish line) 4:00 PM - Boys and Girls 2.3K Middle School 4:30 PM - Girls 5K High School Varsity & JV 5:00 PM - Boys 5K High School Varsity & JV 5:45 PM - Awards Award and Medals: - Championship Plagues to 1st Place – Boys and Girls Varsity Races - Medals to the top 5 individuals in the Varsity Races - "All Conference 1st Team " Certificates to the top 7 in Varsity Races. - "All Conference 2nd Team" Certificates to # 8-14 in Varsity Races.</p><p>Note: You must designate your varsity and JV runners. Only varsity runners are eligible for “All-Conf.” Note: Runners with MSHSL or WIAA violations are not eligible for “All Conference” honors. Note: Coaches have the option of selecting up to two additional “At Large All Conference” runners for boys and girls. Bring nominations to the coaches meeting. Bus parking: Please drop athletes office in parking lot – Greeters will be on site. Buses are then asked to park at the high school – a courtesy van will bring the drivers back to the meet if they wish. Spectator parking: In the parking lot and along the access road. Team camps: In the grassy area to the south of the 9th green and sound equipment. We will follow Federation and MSHSL rules. The course is grassy and rolling.</p><p>Race results will be tabulated by I-Timing - Jessica Hirsch. Enter complete rosters at < itiming.com> and register them for the Ashland LSC Cross Country Meet by noon Friday, October 7, 2016. I-Timing charges a $50 fee for late entries. Only minor changes are allowed on the day of the meet.</p><p>Portable bathrooms are located behind the clubhouse. Buses should drop athletes off at the golf club and park at the high school, no parking at the golf club. If the driver would like to return to watch the event please advise and we will provide transportation. Please show respect to our host site. Stay off the greens and sand traps and stay in the front nine area. Also, thanks in advance for keeping team camp sites clean. Please feel free to call if you have any questions.
