<p> Death of a Salesman Short Creative Writing Summative</p><p>For this assignment you will be writing a creative response to the play, Death of a Salesman. You will choose one of the following six topics revolving around the play and complete the creative writing task.</p><p>Topics:</p><p>1. Write an essay where you explore who is the Ben in your life? Use at least 3 examples from the play and relate them to your own experience. </p><p>2. Write an essay where you explore who is the Charley in your life? Use at least 3 examples from the play and relate them to your own experience. </p><p>3. Write missing scene for the play. Be sure to use proper script formatting. Choose one of the following possibilities: </p><p> o Linda and Willy’s vacation in Florida o Biff’s experiences out West on the ranch o Biff’s train trip home from Boston after his confrontation with Willy and the Woman o Bernard and Biff’s conversation following Biff’s trip to Boston o The Loman family’s reunion to mark the 10th anniversary of Willy’s death </p><p>4. Write “The Ballad of Willy Loman.” You may choose to write a rap. (Hee hee!) </p><p>5. Write a monologue for one of the characters in which that character tells the audience how he or she feels at a specific point in the action. Choose a scene that is a turning point (consider some of the ideas in topic 3). </p>
