Reading of Minutes- reading of minutes waived by Senator Popper and seconded by Senator Santana. IV. Open Forum Motion to move new business before old business by Senator Popper, seconded by President Pro-tempore Hess. V. New Business Buc Fund a. Reading of the minutes from Buc Fund followed by a motion made by Senator Waldroff to adopt consent calendar, seconded by Senator Gillespie. Passes 22-0-0 a.i. Following the consent calendar, Alpha Phi Omega, Zeta Phi Beta, American Medical Student Association, Student Nurses’ Association, HEROES- Halloween Drag Show, HEROES- National Coming Out Day, Pre-Law Society, Community and Behavioral Health, and Multicultural Office-Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration were pulled to follow the consent calendar. a.ii. A motion to fund the full amount requested by Center of Teaching Excellence made by Senator Popper, seconded by Senator Fields. Passes 21-0-1 a.iii. A motion to fully fund Office of Multicultural Affairs- Native American Festival made by Senator Popper, Seconded by Senator Root. Passes 21-0-1 a.iv. A motion to fully fund Hispanic American Student Community Alliance by Senator Popper, seconded by Senator Greer. Passes 19-1-2 a.v. A motion to fund South Asian Cultural Exchange the committee recommended amount made by Senator Santana, seconded by Senator Fields. Passes 20-0-2 VI. Old Business a. SSR-17-001 b. Opened the floor for discussion. b.i. Motion to adopt SSR-17-001 made by President Pro-Tempore Hess, seconded by Senator Zickgraf. Passes 22-0-0 Roll call changes to 19/30 as Senator Fields, Senator Gillespie, and President Pro- tempore leave at 4:32 VII. Executive Branch Remarks a. President- Senator Greer is the SGA member of the week. b. Vice President- Office hour recorded via D2L. c. Secretary/ Treasurer- Absences for meeting, email VP Shipley. VIII. Advisor Remarks a. Dr. Howard- RSPV for dinner with President Noland. IX. Cabinet Remarks X. Senate Remarks XI. Adjourn- motion to adjourn at 4:51 PM by Senator Greer, Seconded by Senator Santana.</p>
