Montgomery VA Medical Center (JCMVAMC) will hold a Telehealth Open House in </p><p>Muskogee and Tulsa on Jan. 30 to showcase technology it is using to increase access to VA health care through the use of secure telecommunications and videoconferencing.</p><p>VA is the nation's leader in Telehealth technologies, which means doctors and patients can meet for health services without physically being in the same place. In addition to videoconferencing, VA Home Telehealth technology also allows VA doctors to closely monitor homebound Veterans with the goal of making the home into the preferred place of care, whenever possible.</p><p>Both Veterans and the public are invited to attend the open houses to learn more about these exciting technologies.
