<p> BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF LEWIS COUNTY, WASHINGTON</p><p>IN THE MATTER OF: } Approving an extension to the Communications Site Agreement } between Weyerhaeuser NR Company and Lewis County for use } Resolution No. ______of a radio repeater site on Baw Faw Peak and authorizing } signatures thereon }</p><p>WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority of RCW 36.01.10 Lewis County entered into a Communications Site Agreement with Weyerhaeuser Company for use of a radio repeater site on Baw Faw Peak which will terminate on September 30, 2014; and WHEREAS, Weyerhaeuser NR Company has offered to extend the Agreement for a period of five (5) years, ending September 31, 2019, for and in consideration of rental payment amounts starting at $3,474.00 annually, increasing 3% per year, and ending at $3,910.00 annually, during the term of the supplemental agreement; and WHEREAS, the radio site remains in use by the County and is an important part of its radio operations; and WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of the supplemental agreement for Lewis County. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the supplemental agreement between Weyerhaeuser NR Company and Lewis County extending the existing Agreement for a radio site on Baw Faw Peak for 5 years, through September 31, 2019, for and in consideration of rental payment amounts starting at $3,474.00 annually, and ending at $3,910.00 annually, during the term of the supplemental agreement is hereby approved, and the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners is authorized to sign the same.
