<p>UNOFFICIAL COPY AS OF 04/06/18 04 REG. SESS. 04 RS BR 2504</p><p>A RESOLUTION honoring the Mason County Middle School cheerleaders, winners of the 2004 Eastern Cheerleading Association National Championship. WHEREAS, the Mason County Middle School cheerleaders have consistently lent support to the Royals athletic teams and fostered tremendous school spirit; and WHEREAS, in January, 2004, the Mason County Middle School cheerleaders earned an invitation to the Eastern Cheerleading Association National Championship with their remarkable performance in the regional competition; and WHEREAS, on March 21, 2004, the Mason County Middle School cheerleaders traveled to Virginia where they competed against squads from Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania and were crowned national champions; and WHEREAS, in the same weekend, the Mason County Middle School cheerleaders added to their national championship title with a second place win in the open competition; and WHEREAS, the Mason County Middle School cheerleaders were led by the commitment of their coach Tracy Heater who was devoted to developing the skills of each member of the squad and promoting a spirit of unity among the entire squad; and WHEREAS, members of the Mason County Middle School squad include Kristin Collings, Brooke Collins, Brianna Curtis, Kayla Day, Allison Hord, Therine Lykins, Lyndsey Meek, Andrea Murray, Katherine Rose, Tammy Schuler, Amanda Simms, and</p><p>Jeanna Williams; and WHEREAS, the accomplishments of this outstanding group of young ladies is a testament to their numerous hours of hard work and dedication, and should give all Kentuckians great pride; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1.
