Configure your EDI system using the parameters provided on the next page</p><p>2. Add your OFTP EDI information to the “Ford OFTP Parameters” (page 3) and complete the “Conventions and Prerequisites for the use of Ford OFTP” (page 4). Schedule an appointment with the Ford EDI team to exchange EDI test data.</p><p>4. If the EDI test is not successful, analyze your EDI setup and retest the connection; otherwise, contact the EDI implementation team and inform them that you are ready to exchange data.</p><p>5. Files will also be provided on weekends and regional or national holidays. </p><p> If the trading partner misses message transmissions (regular cycles), they need to check the setup of their EDI system, as well as the operability of the communication line.
