Sauk and Milwaukee counties will begin preliminary damage assessments this morning. The State Emergency Operations Center will remain open until further notice and will add agencies to EOC staffing as the situation evolves. </p><p>County Warnings and Watches: The National Weather Service has issued the following:</p><p>Flood Warnings Until 8:00 AM: Southern Juneau, Northern Richland, Vernon and Southern Monroe counties</p><p>Until 10:15 AM: Columbia, Sauk, Dodge, Washington, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Jefferson, Dane and Northeast Racine counties</p><p>Flash Flood Warnings Until 9:30 AM: Crawford, Grant, Richland and Vernon counties</p><p>Until 9:45 am: Iowa and Sauk counties</p><p>Flash Flood Watch Until late Sunday night: Adams, Crawford, Grant, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland, Vernon, Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Columbia, Dane, Green, Green Lake, Iowa, Lafayette, Marquette, Rock, Sauk, Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha counties</p><p>River Warnings and Watches:</p><p>Flood Warnings: National Weather Service flood warnings remain in effect for the Kickapoo River in western Wisconsin and the NWS has issued a flood warning for the Root River in Racine County. </p><p>Flood Watches: National Weather Service flood watches continue for the Baraboo River (Sauk County) and the Pecatonica River (Lafayette County). The NWS has issued a flood watch for the Milwaukee River near Cedarburg affecting Ozaukee County.</p><p>Dodge County: Dodge County Emergency Management reports that the Town of Clyman and Town of Reeseville are pumping water from streets and homes. WI Emergency Management staff tracked down pumps from the U.S. Corps of Engineers to help with the effort, but the only available pumps are in Iowa and would not be available until early afternoon. Dodge County officials decided to seek other sources for pumps.</p><p>Road Closures: Highway 56 near Liberty and Highway 80 near Hillsboro in Vernon County are both closed due to flooding. </p><p># # # #</p>
