<p>Barry University – Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management</p><p>Barry University is preparing to offer a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management. The field of emergency management integrates all activities related to building, sustaining, and improving the preparation for, response to, and recovery from threatened or actual natural disasters and acts of terrorism. This includes proactive leadership in unpredictable, catastrophic, and dangerous situations to minimize risk to responders and the public. </p><p>The program will include:  Applications in homeland security, business continuity, hazard mitigation, and international disaster management.  An opportunity to draw on experience from public administration, management, health sciences, psychology, sociology, criminal justice and environmental sciences.</p><p>Portfolio: (Up to 30 credits)</p><p>Courses will be offered on a rotating basis over 8-week terms.
