<p> Chaudhary Group to promote Nepali music, launches 'Soundz of Music' </p><p>Kathmandu, October 5: Chaudhary Group has launched 'Nepal Ice Soundz of Music' program to promote, conserve and develop music in Nepal. Group's Managing Director Nirvana Chaudhary and Nepali musician and singer James Pradhan jointly inaugurated the program at a ceremony held at Patan Museum Café in Lalitpur on Tuesday.</p><p>"The objective of Soundz of Music is to promote and conserve Nepali music. It recognizes both established and upcoming musical talents and gives them a common platform," said Nirvana Chaudhary. "We aim to create a magical musical collaboration by bringing together musicians and singers from different genres such as folk and pop."</p><p>Chaudhary Group's premium brand Nepal Ice is the sponsor of the Soundz of Nepal.</p><p>The Soundz of Nepal program will have two seasons in the initial phase. The first season will comprise of 12 episodes of live performance and recording, each of 15 minutes duration. Top musicians and singers from Nepal will perform. Highlight of the program will be a unique fusion of folk and pop music. The recorded performances will be broadcast through Youtube, online media, TV, and radio for wider reach. </p><p>There will be five types of performances in the Soundz of Nepal: 1) New Interpretations – Popular local artists (established or new) perform brand new interpretations of their biggest career hits; 2) Re-creations – Today’s artists interpret some of Nepal’s classics in an all new and contemporary style. Not necessarily their own music; 3) Collaborations – Key local artists collaborate with Indian singers on classic Bollywood hits that cut across Nepalese audiences; 4) Fusion – a collaborative effort between Nepal’s best rural/folk musicians with today’s urban/contemporary artists; & 5) Mashups – Of popular Nepalese and Bollywood songs which complements each other musically. </p><p>The live performance and recording will start in November 2016. Interested musicians and singers may contact Chaudhary Group with their performance plan. </p><p>Popular Nepali singers and musicians including Sanjay Shrestha, Deepak Bajracharya, Nabin K.
