<p>LifeStream HR director receives certification Becky Scott earns PHR from HR Certification Institute</p><p>YORKTOWN – Becky Scott, director of human resources and staff development at LifeStream Services, has successfully earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credentials from the Society for Human Resource Management’s HR Certification Institute. The certification process involves hours of study, completing competencies and a comprehensive exam. It signifies that Scott possesses the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management necessary to pass a rigorous examination that demonstrates mastery in the field of human resources. Scott has been with LifeStream for almost 16 years and manages a human resources department that works with about 120 staff members. She also assists in HR matters for Area 3 Aging and In-Home Services in Fort Wayne. LifeStream is the local Aging and Disability Resource Center for East Central Indiana. The agency’s mission is to improve the quality of life for people at risk of losing their independence.
