Carrico Center for Pro Bono Service Tara Louise Casey, Director University of Richmond, Virginia 23173 [email protected] ∙ 804-287-1207</p><p>Placement Request</p><p>To supervise a law student pro bono volunteer, you must be an attorney at a nonprofit organization, a governmental agency, a private attorney engaged in the provision of pro bono services, or a law school faculty member.</p><p>All pro bono work done by student volunteers must be law related and include tasks such as interviewing clients and witnesses, drafting documents or legislation, doing legal research or law reform projects, or assisting at trials or administrative hearings. The time commitment and type of work can vary.
