<p> On motion of , seconded by , the following resolution was offered: RESOLUTION NO. A resolution ratifying the recommendation of the Old Metairie Commission to approve Docket No. OM-5-11, construction of a 291 square foot, accessory structure at 428 Hector Ave., Lots 15 & 16, Square 9, Metairie Suburb Sub.; bounded by Duplessis St., Iona St. and Geranium St., zoned Suburban Residential R1-B. (District 5) WHEREAS, the Jefferson Parish Council authorized the OMC to review certain development proposals within the Old Metairie Neighborhood Conservation District in Ordinance Number 18547, dated July 1, 1992; WHEREAS, the Old Metairie Commission held a public hearing on March 24, 2011, as required by law; WHEREAS, the Board of Zoning Adjustments held a public hearing and approved the appeal with stipulations on April 11, 2011, as required by law. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF JEFFERSON PARISH, LOUISIANA, ACTING AS GOVERNING AUTHORITY OF SAID PARISH: SECTION 1. That the Jefferson Parish Council hereby ratifies the recommendation of the Old Metairie Commission to approve Docket No. OM-5 -11, for the construction of a 291 square foot accessory structure at 428 Hector Ave., Lots 15 & 16, Square 9, Metairie Suburb Subdivision. SECTION 2. That the Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement is hereby authorized to proceed with the building permit process on the above referenced proposal, subject to all pertinent Parish codes. SECTION 3. That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to send a certified copy of this resolution and all relevant attachments to the following parties: Director of the Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement; Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement Site Plan Review Supervisor; Planning Department; Mr. Brian Bossier 428 Hector Ave. Metairie, LA 70005 The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as following: YEAS: NAYS: ABSENT: The resolution was declared to be adopted on this the 11th day of May, 2011.</p>
