<p> Westfield Academy</p><p>Principal: Mr T Body BA(Hons), MA</p><p>19th June 2014</p><p>Dear Parent/Carer,</p><p>As part of your son’s/daughter’s Food lessons next year they are required to cook 10 dishes across one of their terms in DT. In order to ensure the smooth running of these lessons we would like each student to pay £30 towards the cost of the ingredients which the school will provide each week. The intention is to make it easier for all students to have the correct ingredients each lesson and reduce the cost you need to spend on providing ingredients. The only equipment that students will need to bring to each lesson is a container in order to take their food home. </p><p>If you decide to opt out of paying the £30 then your son/daughter must bring the correct ingredients each week. Failure to bring in any ingredients/the correct ingredients this will result in an hour after school detention. </p><p>To enable the faculty to plan for the year ahead we would like payments for the ingredients to be handed in by Friday, 18th July 2014. Please would you complete the reply slip below and return it with your payment. </p><p>Our preferred method of payment is through ‘WISEPAY’ which can be accessed through the school website via the link. You should have received a user name and password for this facility. Should you require further assistance, please contact Mrs Cheryl Kent, Finance Officer on the school telephone number or email: [email protected]. You may also pay by cheque or cash.
