(R/M) is seeking a civil engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience for a position based in our Itasca, IL office. This individual should be on track to become a licensed professional engineer within 2 years of employment. This position will include a blend of traditional engineering (planning, design, and construction) and technology-based infrastructure management (Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Asset Management solutions) for municipal and private clients. The candidate will work directly with the Itasca staff, as well as remotely with staff at other R/M offices. A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.</p><p>Ideal candidates for this position will be team-oriented and self-motivated; have strong communication and interpersonal skills; be capable of working independently with minimal supervision; have good problem-solving abilities; possess an entrepreneurial spirit; and be goal and deadline oriented. The candidate must also have a high aptitude for technology based consulting and project management, and be comfortable with public interaction and public speaking.
