<p> The Constitution of the United Classes of Ennisland</p><p>Preamble: We the students of Mr. Ennis, in order to form a more perfect classroom, establish justice, insure educational tranquility, provide for the common intelligence, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of knowledge to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United Classes of Ennisland. Article I. RESPECT  Demonstrate some R-E-S-P-E-C-T and T-L-C (tender lovin’ care) to everybody in this class and you will not have any problems.  R-E-S-P-E-C-T the property and ideas of others in this class.</p><p>Article II - Responsibility  You are in control of your life at CMS; therefore, take responsibility for your accomplishments and failures.  Get started...stay on task...finish the activities presented to you.  Show up to class on time…school rules concerning tardies will be applied in this class.  It is your responsibility to bring supplies to class each day. You will not be allowed to go to your locker to get supplies once class begins. </p><p>Article III Relationships  The following is a cool quote about relationships: “I used to feel so alone at CMS (I added CMS to the quote). All those gazillions of people and then me, on the outside. Because how do you meet a new person? I was very stumped by this for many years. And then I realized, you just say, ‘hi.’ They may ignore you. Or you may marry them. And that possibility is worth that one word.” Augusten Burroughs, “Running with Scissors.”  You will not be best friends with everybody in this class. It might even be possible that your arch enemy is seated next to you. However, all of us will follow Article I for our relationships. </p><p>Article IV Repercussions  If we have a problem with one of these rules…I might have to put you in the “Ashes of Problem Students” jar that is behind my desk. If that does not work, I might be calling a parent to talk about other forms of redirection. </p>
