<p> The Renaissance Personal Book</p><p>Purpose: Over the next two weeks, you will demonstrate your knowledge about The Renaissance by creating an 8-page mini book. It will be made out of one large piece of construction paper and will consist of 8 graded pages. </p><p>Materials Required: Colored Pencils and a Fine-Point Black Pen </p><p>Required Sections in Your Book: 1. Grading Page – The back page will be used to grade this project. Create a 7x4 box, and label each column with the following numbers: 40 32 28 24.</p><p>2. Six Topic Pages – The interior pages will contain six topics that I have chosen. Information can be found using the resources displayed: Humanism – MEMT, pg. 432 Feudalism Ends & Trade Expands – MEMT, pgs. 429-431 Advances in the Arts – MEMT, pg. 437 Leonardo da Vinci – DV; MEMT, pg. 438 William Shakespeare – WS; MEMT, pg. 447 Gutenberg & The Printing Press – MEMT, pg. 449</p><p>3. Cover Page – Design a cover page once the rest of the book is completed. The cover should contain what you believe are the main ideas about the Renaissance. It should be colorful and well-designed. </p><p>Other important notes: - The book will be worth 280 points- 40 points for each of the 7 pages; - It will be collected on or around ______; - Your may choose to either work with a partner or complete the project on your own; - Each page will be graded on the schedule below.
