<p> * M E D I A A L E R T * M E D I A A L E R T *</p><p>Press Conference Petition For National Peace Memorial</p><p>Who: We, the People of the United States of America</p><p>What: Presentation of a Petition to President Barack Obama and Members of the U.S. Congress requesting the establishment of a National Peace Memorial at the site of the Eternal Peace Vigil maintained by Concepcion Picciotto and until his death, by William Thomas.</p><p>When: January 23, 2012 at 2PM EST</p><p>Where: 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue Lafayette Park, directly across from the White House Washington, D.C.</p><p>More: The purpose of the petition is to protect the site and all materials and structures currently used in connection with the vigil and honor the tremendous commitment and sacrifice of everyone who has worked for peace. Acceptance of this petition would ensure that the site remains a permanent place for peaceful vigil and mediation.
